I had an incline that it might be you who wrote this, QUEEN DRUID GRIFFIN SON? ;-)

Re: How the away fans ruined it for my son
To be honest, I can't believe that anyone would write something so obviously camp and over dramatic without an agenda of some kind

My guess is he's hoping for some free tickets to the Boleyn that he can't get, or to jump the queue for the athletics stadium because he isn't getting one there either

Its an open begging letter to the owners

For all those running round trying to help Riddle save face, he did also say 'sad to read that'

I don't think he expected this thread to go how it did.

So this bloke and the kid did not have a valid ticket for the away end and when they enter it illegally they then start moaning.

Re: How the away fans ruined it for my son
Couple of things spring to mind here.

Firstly, like every club, we have a group of morons who flatly refuse to let go of their rose-tinted past (alcohol simply liberates that mindset) and simply think all days at football should be like the ones they had whilst growing up (often 30 or 40 years ago, it seems). These people won't be told - they already know best - so the only way to be rid of them is natural evolutionary selection; we all have to die one day, even those of us who refuse to grow up or accept we're not youngsters any more.

Secondly, the O/P found a solution to sitting amongst fans exhibiting an unpleasant influence on his - and his charge's - "footballing experience" once already, what was stopping him from repeating that activity (as often as it took to get what he (thought) he wanted)?

He, therefore, must shoulder 100% of the blame for being in a position to resolve the situation but failing to act, no matter who's "fault" he felt it was.

Farcical thing is about this prat is he has no idea what real violence is.
He's making out like his 13 yr old is scarred for life over what in reality was probably a few passed up Muppets giving it the biggen...it happens all the time for fuck sake!

Is it a gay site? Well it's run by the openly gay Ian Dale (broadcaster and failed Tory politico) who doesn't tolerate anything that's not remotely pc. Hence my ban 6 months ago for asking a poster if his first language was English!!

By the way, for people who haven't seen him in action, this is the ever so tolerant Dale knocking about some old geezer on the front at Brighton https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zn87Gr2-NHM

LYALL OUT...

most spot on post in WHO's history. I have the same shit with my brother & sister in law.

They do amature dramtics so we have to see one in three of their plays.

So when they have a party, birthday etc they invite all these theatre cunts who think they are big shot actors but in truth they perform to their friends and family in some shithole in China Town.

My Mrs "just talk about the NFL or soccer, I know so & so's boyfriend watched the world cup & you like the world cup don't you"

This is where Facebook is a gift, I can see well in advance all the shit things my wife says she'll attend so I know when I have to think of a way to get out of it.

My Dad refused to take me to a football match till I was 11, because he said it was just full of ignorant gabshites swearing and looking for trouble.
He.was Belfast Celtic supporter so he knew what he was talking about

Re: How the away fans ruined it for my son
Yeah, probably madeeasy, but at the same time, probably just a simple mistake - I'm often guilty myself of jumping in on a thread without thinking.

This has just been added to the article. Is it a gay site? I can't wait for Andy's follow on post. Hopefully a nice shot of them in half and half scarves........

UPDATE FROM IAIN: This has a happy ending. If you look through the comments you will see that Graham has offered to take Andrew and his son to a game, as he has seats at the ground where there isn’t any aggression or bad language. I am delighted to say that Andrew and his son will be going to the Sunderland game, and Andrew will write a post for us afterwards. See how brilliant the people on this site can be? I have a warm feeling inside :).

I haven't read all of this but did people think the author was Riddle?

It was pretty clear to me that he was re-posting it from elsewhere. It's been a good thread with some great humour.

Good work Riddle
